Things To See & Do Around RoFawr

This beautiful part of West Wales is steeped in history, with three ancient castles nearby, and the lovely coastal regions of Pembrokeshire and the Gower peninsula within easy reach.


Nearby are the romantic Welsh Historical Gardens at Aberglasney, and the new Botanic Gardens of Wales. This is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, ideal for fishing (on-site fishing can also be arranged), bird-watching, riding, walking and golf.

Pemberton's Welsh Chocolate Farm - Watch chocolate being made and take a taste of award winning Welsh Chocolate away with you.



Laugharne and Dylan Thomas's Boathouse - about a forty five minute drive



St. David's(the smallest city in Britain) bout an eighty minute drive, and its ancient cathedral where Edmund Tudor, Earl of Richmond (father of kings), is buried.



If you want to taste some really excellent local produce what about a trip to Carmarthen Market on a Wednesday - the cheeses and Welsh hams are highly recommended! About a twenty minute drive.
